How do I change a picture to black and white on Microsoft Word?

Right click on the picture in word and select Format Picture. When the dialog appears, click the Picture Tab and then look for something called Image Control. There should be a drop down menu called "Color". From there, select either greyscale or Black and White for the same look.

Open Msword 2007. Press 'Insert' select 'Picture'. Choose picture. Right click on picture and select 'Format Picture'. Select the tab 'Picture'. Click 'Recolor'. In 'Color Modes' select 'Black and white'.

To change a picture to black and white start by right clicking on the picture. Select format picture. Hit the recolor button and then select the black and white button on that page to change the picture to black and white.
