Heater cores are located on the firewall on the passenger side of vehicle. Depending on which version you have, enter through the dash or through the firewall to get to the heater core. Be sure to drain the coolant from the vehicle before doing this.

You don't. You can change the heater core or vents but not just the simple heater. The heater is not a separte part.

This is a fairly difficult "repair" job, if you consider yourself a novice i would insist that you contact an automotive expert. You're going to need to locate your heater, it's near the engine and clearly labeled. Make sure you kill the engine before performing any under-the-hood work. The heater is held in place by bolts. You'll need fitting sockets.

Well the heater is made of many parts so the process is kind of complicated. Look online to see how do it specifically for your generation of Blazer.

A complicated job due to the fact that the heater is made of many parts. If you're a novice I suggest you to take it to a professional mechanic to look at it or contact an automotive expert. Enter through dash or firewall to get to heater core. Drain all coolant fluids.

The unit that produces heat in a chevy blazer is the heater core. Its underneath the dashboard, and is connected to two coolant hoses underneath the vehicle.

assuming you are referring to the heater core. On the fire wall under the hood you will find a black housing on the passenger side. The core is within that housing. The difficult issue is that the core is frequently removed from behind the dash.

I suggest not to do this yourself, get to a competent diesel engine mechanic which will do it for you. If you want to do them first get the new heaters and required tools from hardware shop and look for online engine manual for your chevy blaze, it should have detailed info on this.
