To calm a rearing horse pull his head around and tell him to go forward. Talk calm and peaceful to your horse while you try to get him to bend down. While bending he cannot rear up. Try to figure out what is upsetting him and try to remedy the situation.

Your goal is safety. If the horse is rearing because it is afraid, either remove the object causing fear or remove the horse from the situation. Apply pressure to the line while the horse is rearing then immediately release pressure as soon as the horse starts to decend. Do not show anger and do not hit the horse.

The most important thing is that you stay calm. The horse will pick up on your mood, and if you're tense it won't help. Use a soothing voice.

Try to speak calmly to him if it is frightened and touch on his body softly so as to assure him that you will make him no harm.

Immediately we should find out any rashes, tumours or injuries appeared on its body and horses should not be standing or facing towards sun while taking rest.
