Pigeon Fever is a bacterial disease which causes painful abcessed to form, often in sensitive areas like the scrotum or mammaries. Antiobiotics are ineffectual. It is best to allow these lesions to break and drain naturally. Flies may be responsible for spreading the disease so wash the legions thoroughly when they break. It is always advisable to see your veterinarian.

Pigeon Fever is a bacteria which is spread by flies. The bacteria causes an abscess to form. The abcess will either pop on its own or need to be lanced by a veterinarian. There is no vaccination for Pigeon Fever.

horses get this from birds that walk on infested ground and then they walk on the horse hay are wheat the horse is usually infect with this about 9 month before it show up and with the right antibo it goes away without any scaring
