Require horse to continue turning when they would like to stop. Make wrong thing hard, right thing easy. When horse quiets, walk forward. If he tries to turn, keep turning.

Everytime your horse starts to turn into a circle, make him take three to six steps back. This will get him thinking. then ask him to continue.

Take some time and allow the horse to turn. Then *make* the horse turn. Make turning on the trail work, much more work for the horse than going in your preferred direction.

When he goes to start turning you should turn him the other direction and give him a kick with your feet. This should push him forward instead of allowing him to go the direction he wants.

Make the wrong thing hard and the right thing easy. If your horse wishes to turn, make it harder for him to do.

When you horse goes to turn in a circle you should guide your horse by a rein in the opposite direction and nudge him forward with your legs. After you correct your horse a few times he will get the picture and stop that bad habit.
