First you select your leather and cut strips of it. Carefully weave the strips in and out. Attach clasp by sewing a button on one end. Read leather braiding books.
Leather for braiding must be pliable and thin enough to allow for hand braiding. A leather belt may be braided with uncut ends by passing the end through each braid.
take three strips of leather and make sure you secure the end take the strip on the left side and place it over the middle, repeat this from left to right then when you have completed the braid sure the end tightly.
