Use the GIMP Animation Package. If your copy of GIMP doesn't include the Animation Package, use a search engine to find the download and the tutorial. The tutorial is comprehensive.

Create the image. Flatten the image. Each layer is a new still in the animation so create the necessary layers. Ensure you maintain accurate positioning. Determine the timing for your animation. Image menu -> Filters -> Animation -> Animation Playback allows you to review/change playback timing (delay). Layer comments identify delays for various layers.

To create animated GIFs using GIMP, you need to have the frames of your image on different layers, then select "Video" - "VCR Navigator" and edit your animation.

I assume, that you have already the pictures of different angles of the face. Now you need a gif. Put every picture into an own layer (CTRL-L) and run it.

You need to have several layers with the sceen pictures. You can edit the layers with CTRL L. Then save as GIF.
