Shingles are the adult form of chicken pox. The way to not spread them is to quarantine yourself from people that have not had chicken pox or the chicken pox vaccination.

There are some treatment to help prevent the spread of shingles. practice good hygiene wash your hands. Avoid close contact with people and keep area covered with an absorbent cloth.
