pampas grass is a beautiful and attractive grass ornament used for screening yards but it is difficult if it grow out of control,to kill it Use a clipper,snip the top of the grass and not let the seeds spread out, then rot the top in plastic then throw it away,don't put them into a compost bin

The best way is with a spray such as Round Up. Guaranteed it will be killed, be careful when spraying that it doesn't hit any other nearby plants because Round Up kills pretty much anything green and living.

You need to pull this out by the root. Then in the spring spray with Round-Up. This will kill the new sprouts. Repeat until totally dead.

An easier way to get rid of the pampas grass without using chemicals is by digging and pulling them out yourself. Make sure that you have gotten all the roots so that they don't come back again. After that you can polarize the pampas grass to get rid of it.
