If you use birth control pills, you can start your next month's pack without taking the week of inactive pills at the end of the pack, thus skipping one period and moving the next month's period up a week. There are no reliable methods to delaying your period without using hormonal birth control pills.

It is difficult and potentially risky to alter your regular menstrual cycle, and you should strongly consider avoiding doing so. That being said, there are some ways to do it. The most reliable is probably birth control medication. Diet can also work, but this can be extremely unhealthy. You may want to discuss this with your doctor before doing anything.

There is no guarantee, but with enough time you can try a continuous-birth-control cycle. Consult your doctor. It may take a couple of months for your body to adjust, but using any pill form, take it continually, skipping the placebo and going straight to the next pack every month.

The only way that I know how to do that is by taking continuous birth control. I can't promise you that there won't be any breakthrough bleeding. As far as I know that is the only way you can delay your period. I also can't promise you that it will actually work, either.
