The easiest way to completely remove norton is to use the norton removal tool. Navigate to the norton website and search for the removal tool, download it, then run it.

To uninstall Norton from Vista, you can use Norton's uninstall program which should completely take Norton off of the computer, the other way that you can do it is to go to the control panel and then go to Add/ remove programs and highlight Norton and click on remove program and that should do it as well.

It's simple. Click the start button in the bottom left, click control panel, and then click add/remove programs. Scroll and find Norton and uninstall it. That's all it takes.

Go to the Norton website and download the Norton Removal Tool. Uninstall Norton using add/remove programs, and then run the removal tool. That should take care of the problem. If not, you will have to manually remove the Norton entries in your registry.

To uninstall Norton from Vista you must go into Control Panel, Add or remove a program, and then let the list populate. When the list is done populating, you must click on Norton and hit uninstall. There will be an uninstall wizard that will pop up and you must follow the prompts.

It's fairly easy, first you go to control panel > programs > uninstall programs. find norton and click uninstall. you will have to restart your computer and if you reformat the computer you will get norton back if it was a default program.

First be sure you have another anti virus program in hand, you don't want to stay unprotected from viruses. To remove it fully all you have to do is go to control panel then click on add or remove programs and uninstall it form there.

You should be able to do it from Add/Remove programs in the control pannels. However, norton has a habit of leaving parts of the software behind even after an uninstall. Try using software like CCleaner or Norton Removal tool.

The best way to do this is to go to your Windows COntrol Panel and Select the Uninstall/Change Software option. Here you can choose Norton and uninstall it.

Norton's website had a free downloadable program that allows you to safely remove any Norton software from your computer. Just download the vista version.
