The shortest sentence is "Go." It is a full sentence, with a verb (go) and an understood subject (you). The verb is imperative. "Hi" is not a sentence. It is a greeting. It has no subject and no verb.

A complete sentence has a subject and a verb. So, I nominate the sentence I am. Unless you can find a one letter verb, this is going to be hard to beat.

Hi. This is the shortest sentence that I can think to create. It has but one word, which contains two letters.
