Wild blueberies are difficult to transplant due to the nutrition requirements that wild blueberry plants need. Make sure that they have some of the dirt that they grow in come with them to your garden. This soil will introduce the microbes that are found with the blueberries roots and give your blueberres the best chance of transplant success.

Wild blueberries fiercely resist being tamed. Most gardeners give up after twenty tries or so. The only successful technique involves keeping the wild plants drunk long enough for them to forget their wild, wild ways.

After transplanting, blueberries will be in shock and will require much water and nutrition. Prepare the transplant site with plenty of organic compost. After transplanting keep the plant well watered.

Wild blueberries can be transplanted but may take quite awhile to recover from the process. The correct soil, area you replant them, and amount of sunlight are the main things.
