First, you will need to get experience. You can do this by searching for a local racetrack in your area. You will probably need to get your own car, although you may be able to get a local business to sponsor you. Once you have started to win these small races, larger opportunities will come.

You could start by joining the SCCA, or sports car club of America. They are an amateur car racing organization. You can race your own car in their races. This is a good start as an amateur to get practice racing, and make connections for those who do it more seriously.

The best way to start a racing career is to begin by investing in a racing go cart and exploring go cart races in your area. Once you have accomplished this you will need to go to your local track and practice as well as participate in various races.

It is a lot of work. No Job is easy to get into. At least no career is. There are classes you can take and weekend camps may help.
