The first thing you want to do is get rid of the extra fertilizer. This can usually be acomplished by flushing with water. Next you want to try to regenerate the grass for which some new seed might help.

stop fertalizing it and make sure it has plenty of water and when it gets new growth make sure to mow it so it will encourage the green to continue coming up.

Don't fertilize for a little while or pour a little tobbaco juice on it and see if that doesn't help it out.

The fastest way is to dig up the brown spots and apply a layer of sod the the area. A long term solution is to not apply any more fertilizer and make sure the grass gets plenty of water. Two to three inches of water a week will promote new grass growth in these areas.

The easiest way is to stop fertilizing the yard for two months. During that time make sure that you water the brown spots everyday. You could also use a rake on the area and then put down grass seed to regrow the grass in that area.

You can fix this problem by not putting anymore fertilizer on the yard for about 2 months. Keep watering this spot until grass starts to grow again.

Lawn repair can easily be accomplished by first scratching up the area with a rake or other tool and then seeding the area with quality perennial grass seed mix. These seed mixes can be found at any home store.

Stop fertilizing and try to remove some of the extra fertilizer if possible. Finally water the brown spots very well regularly.

First, stop fertilizing the lawn. Flush out the fertilizer by watering. From here, be sure to regularly water the lawn and wait till the lawn is looking healthy before restarting fertilizing. A thin layer of additional topsoil in the area that has brown spots can also help to speed the recovery process for your lawn.

After a good rain, use a rake to rough up the brown spot and expose the soil. Spread grass seed in bare spot and cover with straw or pine needles to protect the emerging grass plants until they are strong. Keep the spot watered.
