How can I repair a burn in the carpet?

The small burn can be repaired by removing some carpet fibers from an inconspicuous place and hot glued into place with a hot glue gun. Allow the glue to dry and set up fully before vacuuming

Use a small pair of scissors and carefully trim away the burned fibers. If this leaves a deep divot, clip from fibers from the corner of a closet or an out-of-the-way spot and super glue them to the place where you cut away the burned part.

Pull up a baseboard along the wall and get a small patch of carpet from underneath it, then use something hot to melt the new fibers (CAREFULLY) into place. Good luck!
