How can I remove the grey stains on the vinyl around the base of the toilet?

Bleach will whiten the stain, but to keep the stain from reappearing, you likely need to replace the wax ring around the base of the toilet.

Those are not stains.That is from the water where the toilet was either sweating or it has leaked at some point. What you are seeing is where the water got under and removed the colored backing.

You need to empty the water out of your toilet. Get a roll of paper towels & soak them with some kind of cleaner. Either bathroom cleaner or white vinegar. Line inside of the toilet with the towels & keep them wet with cleaner for a few hours. Clean with toilet brush & then rinse really good.

Either use bleach and see if it works or you might want to use white vinegar. Put it into a spray bottle and spray around the area. It should work.

I would try limeaway first to see if that works. You could also try using a magic eraser too. You might also want to try using toothpaste and a toothbrush or some other bristle brush. If it is white you can use bleach to get it its whitest. Note only use bleach on white vinyl.

You can tr using a gel cleaner comtaining bleach, Let it sit for about ten minutes and see if it comes clean. Good luck

I would try using toothpaste and a toothbrush or some other bristled brush. You can also try scrubbing them with a little oxiclean and water. If your floor is white you can bleach it. Just be careful when working with bleach, and be sure that you always wear gloves.

You could try bleaching them out. I would just caution you to be careful about this because if bleach mixes with ammonia or anything containing it it becomes toxic. If you have pets you'll want to keep them out of the bleach as well. Bleach is a harsh chemical and also be sure your house is well ventilated.
