How can I remove a deadbolt?

Unlock the door and remove the screws that are on the inside of the door and the door jam. If you don't have the key you'll need to gain access to the inside of the structure and remove the pins that secure the hinges. With them removed apply pleasure to the door in the direction that it opens.

At first we must use screwdriver to remove a deadbolt. using screwdriver just unlock the bolt then remove screw one by one slowly. if screws are not coming out easily,we can use lubricant to loosen them. Then we must take edge of screwdriver and take latch plate off. once the screws are removed,deadbolt is hanging loose through door.

Remove screws. Disassemle the whole lock mechanism. Also local home improvement stores offer tools that can act as a "punch out" to get the lock out.

Simply find the side of the door with the deadbolt assembly screws showing. Unscrew these two securing screws facing the inside of the room. The rest will fall out.

First find what kind of screw driver you will need, then remove the screws and it should slide right out.
