Eat a healthy balanced diet, and listen to your body. Not everyone can eat 3 meals a day without feeling huge and bagged up. Try eating small amounts, regularly throughout the day. Drink plenty of water. Don't smoke. And chew food completely before swallowing. Eat only if hungry.

Eating the recommended amount of fiber each day is definitaly what a doctor will tell you to start off with. Other than that things like yogurt (activia challenge for example)

Eating properly by cutting down on fatty foods and getting enough fiber can help. Eliminating as much high fructose corn syrup and sugar from your diet will also help. Adding good bacteria from a pro biotic or yogurt will also promote good digestive health which should help your immune system also.

The easiest and healthiest way to do this is to change your eating habits. Organic foods are better than processed foods. If you have an allergy or intolerance to something that causes digestive distress, eliminate that completely from your diet. If you are overweight, exercise and drink plenty of water. All of these things will help with poor digestion.
