One can identify weasel droppings found in the northwest in various ways. Weasels tend to create smaller droppings than other animals, such as moose or bears. Thus, looking for small pebble-like clusters or mounds is a good start. Since the weasel eats a good deal of insects, their droppings can reflect this dietary choice.
