How can I go about unlocking gsm/sim cards?

Usually when you buy a sim or gsm card it comes with a PUK code that you can use to unlock your sim card in case it gets lock. check the box.

Three solutions are available. At best contact your carrier or a third party retailer and pay them for unlocking codes or getting unlocked. Expensively buy a new phone. Or unlock by yourself using unlock code calculator or unlocker software which involves knowledge about the make, model, IMEI, Provider code and some precautions like removing SIM, five correct trials etc.

To unlock a GMS/SIM card you often need to have your cellular phone company onboard. If they think that you are locked into a plan with them via contract, they often will unlock your phone for a trip abroad. However, if you have no contract or a contract that is about to expire, they will not help you.

It's not easy to do. You must download software on the internet, install it onto your computer, and then hook your phone up to it. For non tech savy people, it is not easy to do.

For each make and model there is a unique unlocking code to enable other networks sim cards to be used in that cell. Cell phone stores can usually do this for you, alternatively you can use one of the various unlocking websites and do it yourself. these sites usually have a small charge for using their codes.

Well, you can unlock them by messing with the card. Some people specialize in unlocking but its not possible to do this without the right equipment.

There are several sites that offer unlock codes for various phones. You find the code for your specific phone and follow the directions for entering the code and unlocking the phone. You can also purchase a phone that is already unlocked, make sure it is usable in your particular country.

No one will really tell you how to do it because most people do it for money. Your best bet is to go online to craigslist or google and find someone who unlocks phones and sim cards.

You call your gsm/sim cards operator for the code if you had lock your gsm/sim cards. Ask them for PUK code.
