If you aren't concerned about quality, play the tape on a cassette player while recording the output with a microphone placed near the speaker. Then copy the file onto a CD. There are also devices that will hook up to your computer and save the audio file directly.

You have to have a CD burner. Many computers actually have these. Then, you must either hook the tape player to the CD burner or make it into an audio file on your computer. You can create a file on your computer by playing it into the microphone.

Recording a tape to cd is a easy way by using advance tape recorder are players. Play the tape and see the AUDIO OUTPUT pin in the tape player. Connect the audio output to the Digital recorders,computers. Write the audio file to the cd using cd writers.
