Question by  thewee (35)

How can I get rid of skin breakouts on my jawline?

These pimples seem to show up in the general area where the headset of my office phone presses against my face.

Use a product that contains salicylic acid to treat the existing pimples. You've already identified the cause however, which is what you really need to address. Consider using a phone headset. Or try to avoid cradling the phone with your shoulder to press it against your chin.

Clean your face daily with witch hazel and then apply a light moisturizer if your skin is dry. clean your headset daily with alcohol wipes to eliminate the bacteria.

Seems like the friction is irritating your pores. I would try and use a headset which stretches away from the face. Then treat the breakout.

Your skin is probably becoming irritated by the pressure of the phone and from any perspiration that builds up where the phone touches your skin. Place a clean handkerchief (or even a clean paper towel) between the headset and your jaw. Also try washing your face several times a day.
