Prepare a hand-out, brochure, or brief summary of you and your work. Mail or deliver this to the office with a cover letter stating your interest in showing your work there. Request an appointment for a meeting and preview of your work.

Make an appointment with the owner of the practice. Bring with you a professional portfolio that includes your artist resume, artist statement about the work you want to display and images of the work. Explain why you feel your work is best suited for that office environment.

Create a portfolio and start shopping yourself to each of the offices. Include 10 to 15 strong pieces of your work and an artist's statement along with the packet. Speak to the owner directly and also consider the other offices in the building. Art is subjective, so be prepared for rejection.

Find a doctor who runs his or her own practice and show them your work. If they like it, then ask them if they will hang it in the office.

When it comes to hanging your art in public places all you need to do is ask. I've never been turned away by a possible venue. Also try coffee houses and places that have a usual rotation of artwork on the walls. Most people don't mind having a little local art on the wall.

Well the easiest way is to just go down to your local offices and ask them if they are interested in your work.

Take small photos or prints of your artwork directly into the offices when business is slower, and ask the receptionist if they would consider displaying your art. It never hurts to ask directly. Another option you can consider is asking an interior design firm if they would use your artwork.
