Depending on the type of building, crawl space access can normally be obtained by a preexisting opening, normally outside the building located near the foundation or within the building in a storage area or hallway. Crawl space access can also be obtained by creating an opening in these areas.

Cut a hole in the floor at a out of the way location like in a closet. Mount your cutout on hinges and use as a trap door.
