How can I get better at throwing the javelin?

Since javelin throwing can be stressful on your arms and shoulders, proper technique is essential. The javelin should be held horizontally in the palm of your hands with the palm facing up; hold the javelin above your shoulder aimed in target direction, run straight ahead maintaining position, twist hip and use momentum to release javelin high into the air.

1. plyometric training. 2. weight train. 3.practice . 4.practice throwing football. 5.Do lots of running. 6.sleep good. 7.do lots of arm exercise try to build p more biceps. 8.practice hand rotations 10 minutes a day. 9.practice throwing striate and very acurate at a specific terget. 10.last put lost of effort into the javalin.

Master throwing it standing still, then you master running with it without throwing it, then combine the two skills and you should be very good.

A way to improve javelin throwing is to practice as much as you can. One of the best exercises is to throw things overhand and over your head.
