If someone wanted to find out who was a registered child molester, they could consult any of these entities or do an online search of a city, state or national directory to find a person in their area who is a registered sexual offender.

All known sex offender are registered and it's public knowledge. You can even go to a website called megans law, it shows all registered offenders in any given area.

A lot of areas make the molester advertise this fact by putting up a sign in the front yard. Some police stations will give you a list of known offenders in your area and the internet has sites where they can be found.
