Definitely a challenge of late. You can try the local newspaper. Craig's list is a great place to look. But probably the one best way is networking. A friend or relative might know someone hiring. Try a temp agency, they often have permanent positions available. Good luck.

Finding a job in our current economy can be very difficult. You must be persistent and active in your job search. Check on-line and in your local newspaper. Contact local businesses that might interest you and ask if they are accepting applications. Be sure to be polite and send thank-you notes to everyone with whom you speak.

1. Ask everyone you know if they are hiring. 2. Walk into any store or business with a hiring sign and apply. 3. Volunteer your services at businesses you are interested in at a discounted 'trial' rate. 4. Work at a day labor center while sending out resumes.

Most people find jobs through networking... knowing someone who knows someone who is looking for someone like you. If you're not having any luck that way, check out websites, they show jobs from every major (and minor) job posting site. If all else fails, searched for recruiters in your area.
