How can I eliminate the bugs on the trunk of my willow tree?

Insects that attack the willow trees are called 'gall bugs' since they are attracted to, and inject the gall of the willow tree-causing damage. To eliminate the bugs and protect the tree remove all the galls at the base of the willow. Look for insecticides labeled to kill gall midges and gall wasps and spray the tree over 1-3 weeks.

Well, I would use a pest control spray such as raid. It is pretty effective, but you have to spray it every 2-3 days.

If you see lines of holes throughout the tree trunk, your tree has been infested with the willow borer. You can take a wire hanger and poke through the holes to kill the bugs, then fill the holes with diatomaceous earth, this should kill the borers.

It depends on the kind of bugs. Look them up on Google, then determine what they are and whether or not they are detrimental. If they are not detrimental, leave them alone. If they are, try spraying them hard with water. That may do it. If not, Google treatments.

Go to the nearest store with a gardening section and pick up some insecticide spray and have at it!
