How can I determine where water is leaking into my Ford Taurus?

Make sure the car is completely dried out. Sprinkle baby powder all over the general area of where you think the leak is coming from. Take a garden hose and spray water all over this general area of the car. Look at the baby powder and you should see a trail where the water comes in.

Open all the doors/hatches/trunk/hood and look for broken or messed up rubber type black seals that fit between the doors and body of the car.

If you live in a state where they use salt on the roads in the winter time there is a very good posibility that there are spots rusting threw the car on the bottom. There are also problems with the heater core drain vent falling off and leaking.

common way to check for water leaks is to ,have a friend spray water from a garden hose all around door and window seals and gaskets while you are inside
