How can I deal with paternity issues?

Answer by  Kurt (4579)

It depends on which paternity issues you mean. If you are not sure you are actually the father of the child, you need to have a dna test performed to confirm whether you actually are the father. Then you can go forward from there.

Any man who is not certain he is the father should take a DNA test. If positive, accept full parental responsibility i.e., financial/emotional, etc.

A paternity test is the best way. Maternity is not something that can be questioned though paternity issues can become a very big deal if not dealt with properly. The best thing is to prove paternity through a test then proceed by means of the legal system if necessary to do so.

You need to make sure there is a paternity test. That will prove with 99.9% accuracy who the father is.

Most issues are not easy to deal with because the person you had kids with have history. So there will always be a emotional bond of some sort. But one thing you have to understand is that the child is the one torn between the drama of you guys. With that being said, you'll do the right thing.
