There are two aspects to creating a good screen name: uniqueness and "creativity". To make your username more unique, try mixing in symbols, mixed case letters, and numbers. To enhance creativity, try using puns, topical words (car stuff on a car forum), and wordplay.

Be concise. Use a short word that is easy to remember and type out, make sure you do not use complicated number strings, slashes and underscores. Pick something which fits your character if possible.

The best way to come up with screen names is to just use whatever pop into your mind at the time. You can also look around the room you're in and whatever you see just make up a name. For example the room I'm in has a bookshelf so I would make something up like bookworm!

You can use a location of a wedding, or birth place. You can also use the name of a pet, or a special date.

Combine something you like with an underscore "_" and a number set you like. For Example I love Resident Evil so I might do something such as ResEvilFan_17 easy for me to remember and most websites will accept it.

Think of what your username will be for,a name based off something that you like that is common,Likewise you would not use this name at a site where farmer's congregate.

Find something unique to you. Do not use your name, location, birth year, or cliches ("sexygirl4u"). Think of a nickname or a hobby you have and work from there.
