How can I add sound to my computer in safe mode?

I would appreciate it if you could tell me step-by-step.

Safe mode is utilized to troubleshoot problems on a PC, in an environment where practically nothing is running except for essential programs. The sound driver is therefore disabled in safe mode. "msconfig" would have the list of programs and sound could theoretically be enabled from there. Research the proper methods needed to activate sound.

It really depends on your sound card and whether it has legacy drivers for use in safe mode and dos. Yes, you could manually load the drivers in a command prompt if you knew what to do. or you can just go to ran the *.reg... rebooted my computer and .... zingg... working sound

If you want to do it in safe mode, make a backup first. Then insert the soundcard into a free slot and install the driver as last step.
