How are my ears and sinuses connected?

yes the ear "canal" and the sinuses are essentially connected. Sinuses are actually small pockets with in the skull where fluid can accumulate. It is common for the sinuses to build up pressure and be the cause for many types of ear aches. Sinus infections and ear infections are tied together most of them time.

Your sinuses are kind of connected to everything in your head. Sinuses can put pressure on your ears causing you to feel the pressure and an associated pain. Sinuses can also cause headaches, pain behind the eyes and cheeks, and also wisdom tooth pain if you have wisdom teeth.

The main sinuses are frontal ,maxillary, ethmoid sphenoid etc. The mastoid cells lie in the temporal bones;the mastoid antrum lies in the mastoid process. It communicates with the tympanic cavity. air sinuses give resonance to the voice.

Well basically if you have a sinus it can have an impact on your ears and you can get some pain in your ear.
