No. However, peach pits naturally contain tiny amounts of cyanide. You would have to eat a lot of peach pits to get sick or die, though.

The chance of eating a peach being injected with cyanide is almost none. I did a search, and the only thing I could find where two grapes in March of 2001 being injected with cyanide. It was a frenzy that attacked the media awhile back, but I haven't found anything with a peach.

probably it was...the human beeing likes experimenting every thing so it can be.... well ... i don't like artificial fruits

Yes they do, in very small amounts about 9 milligrams. Amygdalin which contains cyanide/sugar which is used for cancer patients so even if you ate a dozen pits, your body can digest and breakdown the cyanide. It's a case of Facts blown out of proportion. it reminds us to do our research.
