The common conception of society is yes, although it is all independent on the methods and technology that is present at the time. Media and communication has played a large factor in this fear, imagine 100+ years ago how little you would really know what was going on around you

May I answer 'yes' to both? Sadly, the world has become more dangerous. The threat of terrorism is ramapant. In spite of all efforts on behalf of the US, Al Quaida is still a tremendous threat in the world. Osama bin Laden is still alive, and a very real threat in the US.

The world has become more dangerous over the years; we are not just more paranoid. The abundance of access to the media affords us a wider view of the world and the different types of violence that occur everywhere from our neighborhood to across the Atlantic. We are also learning of dangers in our homes, such as lead, mold, radon.

The world is definitely becoming more dangerous all the time. As we get closer and closer to the end of times, people become less caring of others. The more people turn away from God, as is happening, the worse the world will become, until Jesus returns for those who believe in Him.
