Grasshoppers are an easy pest to deal with, the best way is to have your plants sprayed with bug spray. You can get bug spray at your local home care store or you can hire a proffesional to come to your house and diagnose your problem and determine the best way to treat the plants.

I would prbably find a insecticide thats safe for your type of plants, or if you dont like sprays im sure there are organic methods.

Try using a homemade mixture of one head garlic,1/4 teaspoon or less vegetable oil, just a small pinch of dishwashing liquid. Puree garlic and add other ingrediants in a sprayer bottle and apply in the evening, out of direct sunlight.

I have grasshoppers, too. I could buy an insecticide. But I use my mint leaves to muddle in mojito's. Can I simply wash the leaves before using them? Or should I be concerned about the leaves absorbing the insecticide?
