Does the Shark portable steamer work well?

Yes it does, it gets really hot so it kills germs like crazy! it just takes a few moments to heat up and you can change out the different pads to what you are working on.

Most of the reviews are five stars. The reviews say it works just like on the infomercial. I read one review which was not happy with it.

From everything I could find to read, review wise, seems to indicate that it is a good product. It seems to work as advertised on television. I do not have any personal experience. However based on what I have read, and my desire to purchase one myself, I could see buying this unit. It looks durable, and seems cost effective.
