It can dry it out, but it's more likely to give you more pimples. You're more likely to have success with a pimple zapping product from a name brand company.

Yes, this actually works. I heard that this is a beauty secret of many celebrities. You put just a little bit of toothpaste on the pimple before you go to bed at night. When you wake up in the morning, the pimple will not be as prominent. Don't use the gel type of toothpaste, though. It doesn't work.

I always put toothpaste on pimples and even burn them and make them go ... sometimes. Then wash your face with water and after 2 minutes with alcohol.Or find the pharmacy specific dried sticks without a trace unsightly facial pimples. If that does not give any results consult a dermatologist in your town.

The theory used to be that it would help draw the pus out. I have tried this with no success whatsoever. What's the harm, really? Try it at night!

It can work for some people, but it can't be a gel toothpaste. Putting just a bit over a pimple can dry it out, but this should not be a normal part of a skin care routine.
