Does hazelwood really have healing powers or is it just another gimmick to get you to buy?

Everybody is looking for a "wonder drug."

Hazelwood is useful in treating skin problems, such as swelling. I understand that applying hazelwood on hemorrhoids is very soothing. It is also very soothing for rashes, bug bites, and provides relief from the pain of sunburn.

Hazelwood supposedly absorbs excess acid from your body when in contact with your skin among other things. This is entirely unproven and extremely unlikely to be true. It's a gimmick.

Hazelwood is said to contain healing properties. The only way to find out whether or not there is any substance in the claims pertaining to Hazelwood is to try it.
