despite the name, crabeater seals do not actually eat crabs. their main diet consists of lots and lots of krill. they also thrive on eating small fish and squid. crabeater seals live in the antartic. there are actually no crabs at all living in the antartic waters, nor any lobsters either.

Actually no, despite the name Crabeater seals do not eat crabs :-) They are specialized on the abundant Antarctic krill of the Southern Ocean -- shrimp-like crustaceans living in large schools.
