Does anyone still use dial-up or wireless?

It seems like that would be fast now because no one's using it.

The amount of people using the service isn't what makes dial-up service slow. It's just that, when transmitting data in that way, there is a limit to how fast it can go. DSL and cable are capable of transmitting more data more quickly, which is why they're more popular now.

Dial-up is miserably slow because of the limited rate of data used by this method. Further, since web pages are getting bigger and more complicated since most people are using high speed connections, dial-up is even less effective for internet access.

Well dial-up is not slow because of the traffic but it is the technology that limits data transfer. So there really would be no noticeable improvement in speed.
