Cradle the baby in your arms. Hold the bottle in one hand and use the other hand to gently rub along the side of her cheek close to her mouth. This will stimulate her to turn her head towards your finger and drink from the bottle.

Try gently touching the side of their cheek with the nipple of the bottle, and you will find they turn their head instinctively to try and latch onto the "nipple. " Also important to ensure the teat does not flow to quickly and is not to big for the babies mouth.

You should first select a very small bottle with a small handle. Pour little milk into it and hold it with your hand and at the same time also allow child to hold it.

If you are trying to going from breastfeeding to bottle feeding try offering the bottle during the first morning feeding. Since the baby will probably be hungry after sleeping he or she will be more likely to take the bottle. Also try having another member of the family offer the bottle. This works for some babies.
