Alcohol consumption can lead to pancreatitis and one of the complications of pancreatitis is called a pseduocyst. A pseudocyst is a walled off fluid collection.

No it does not. Cysts are typically caused by wear and tear, infections, or inflammations on the skin. Rubbing alcohol, though, is sometimes used to treat them.

Drinking alcohol cannot cause or worsen liver cysts, most of which are benign. However, alcohol is associated with cancer of the liver, mouth, throat, voice box and esophagus. Long-term consumption has also been linked to liver cirrhosis (damage to the liver cells), inflammation of the pancreas, high blood pressure, and psychological disorders.

If you drink alcohol in moderation, no it will not. However, if you tend to over indulge, it can lead to a cyst. It is best to consult your doctor.

Generally speaking, alcohol consumption has no direct correlation to the development of cysts. If you have a tendency to develop cysts and are taking medication to prevent it, you should consult with your doctor about possible interactions.
