A water filter does help to clean the drinking water of a wide amount of impurities. It does not remove everything from the water, but it certainly does help to make your water cleaner and much safer to drink. You will be able to see all the impurities when you check the water filter which will have turned black.

Yes it will. It filters out local impurities, and makes water much cleaner and taste much better. As long as you're not drinking sewer water, it should help a lot.

Unless you live in an area that doesn't have regular access to clean, fresh water, then a water purifier isn't really necessary per se. However, purchasing a purifier can significantly improve the taste of the water you're drinking and remove certain minerals in the water that make it considered "hard" water.

A water purifier is only any good when you are in a place where the water has a high mineral content, otherwise, they are useless.

Yes a water purifier is really good. I purchased a Brita water purifier because my father works for the Water Department and he does not trust the water.
