Absorbacy has nothing to do with price. Some of the most absorbant paper towel on the market today are also the most inexpensive.Aborbancy has to put with the way the product is made and material usage. some people may think it cost more to make and buy a better product but thats not totaly true.

When buying paper towels, look on the package it'll tell you if they are 2 ply or 1 ply. Also, whether or not they have "Thirst Pockets" or are "Waffle Weave". The cheap ones are of a single ply and do not have the absorbency of "Pockets". You don't have to get the high priced ones, but not the cheapest.

There is a better chance that pricier towels will be more absorbent and have higher quality, but that is not always the case. If you are happy with the way your cheaper brand works, then it should be fine. The absorbency will depend on the materials used and thickness of the towels.

Most of the time paper towel absorbency depends on price. Usually the cheaper paper towels are not as absorbent. Bounty is a good brand of paper towels but it is usually high priced, although sometimes you can find it on sale and stock up for a later time.
