I rarely use hand lotion, but I need to. The problem, I find is that my hands are in water so often that I would need to apply it 50 times a day. I use hand lotion when I especially want my hands to look nice.
I use hand lotion every day because I am constantly out in the yard trying to maintain my raised beds that I put in this year.
The only place I don't put hand lotion is on my finger tips because I play the guitar and I don't want my finger tips soft.
I don't like the greasy feeling that many lotions leave right after using them, so i usually use lotion right before going to bed. This helps to keep my hands moisturized in the dry climate that I live in.
Hi! I agree with you, I also don't like to use hand lotion very often because I don't care for how it feels. I well sometimes put it on my elbows because they get pretty dry especially in the winter, and it soaks in a lot faster.
Every time I wash my hands I put lotion on because my hands feel dry. It might be that I got used to it and now it is a necessity. There are lotions on the market that get absorbed in the skin and make your hands soft and silky.
