Cetaphil makes two types of lotion specifically for your face. One is for normal skin and the other is for sensitive skin. It doesn't make your skin oily at all and blends in instantly.
This depends on your skin. Dry skin may want a cream. Oily skin will want something lighter or oil-controlling. Good brands to explore are Olay, Neutrogena, Lancome, Clinique, and Murad.
Do not use body lotion because it is too heavy! The best lotion for the face, in my opinion, is Origins "Mega-Mushroom Face Lotion," because it also optimizes skin's defenses.
