No I do not. A programmable digital thermostat will be more energy efficient. You can program on and off set points to turn it off when not needed.

I think not as it consumes much more power and therefore comes higher electric bill. My advice to you is to stay on the digital and you'll be happier. Although I think the thermostat warmer still think it is more cost-effective digital heating due to the economic crisis, it's all about money.

I agree with you, the digital format for central heating can be unfaithful at times, especially if the wiring are not efficient and burn out.
