Do you lost a lot of nutrition from eating tinned tuna?

I know some of the protein is filtered out.

To answer this question, no you don't lose protein from tuna. Although there is some protein filtered out, there is still 13 grams of protein in a can which is enough.

With any kind of canned food, as opposed to fresh, you lose some of the nutrients. However, if a food is more convienent, you are more likely to eat it.
